40 Day Mind Fast Soul Feast by Michael Bernard Beckwith

“Lent is a season of spiritual growth, a time for progressive unfoldment. When we can blend and merge our minds with God-Mind, the way is open for the Spirit to glorify us and to life us into a higher, purer, more spiritual state.” – Charles Fillmore

A Day of Keeping True

  • Morning: Intention Call
Each morning we have an intention call to support individuals in living intentionally throughout the day. The call includes spiritual reading and group prayer.
  • Prayer Partners:
Individuals are spiritually chosen to pray with one another, at your convenience, at least once a day. This supports daily spiritual practice.
  • Evening: Gratitude Calls:
Each evening we commune in gratitude which includes writing your gratitude list, spiritual reading and group prayer.
  • Sunday Night: Recap Calls
Each Sunday night we recap weekly successes and insights.

Special Events

Periodically I’m Keeping True has a half day silent retreat. This event allows individuals to practice sitting in the stillness and listening to inner-revelations. As of 2017,  we have added to the I’m Keeping True program a retreat in Jamaica, West Indies. All retreats includes guided meditations, spiritual writings, and plant-based cuisine.

“Rev. Arlene - Your enthusiasm, energy and "knowingness" that we are emanations of God, that we may continually catapult ourselves higher, lean in more to God, support and love one another is truly inspiring and unifying! I also loved the gratitude/blessing journal to do in the evening.”

Vivan

“My greatest achievement was meditation and stillness. I have wanted to mediate, truly surrender for 20 minutes each day. In the past it was difficult for my inner self to let go of the tasks of everyday life. Now, I value this time as a sacred opportunity to unify with God.”

Michelle

“You are my spiritual therapist and I appreciate you and love you for all the gifts that you give! They joy and kindness in you and the happiness and zeal that is contagious! I want to be just like you!!!”

“At the start of “I’m Keeping True” my prayer partner and I prayed that I would find a place to live that would allow me to grow my own food again. I will be signing the lease on a place tomorrow where I can do that. This new home is essentially the same price as the place where I currently live, closer to work, and has two mature fruit trees already in place that are not being taken care of. I will get to design and install my own native, herb and veggie gardens which is my joy! and take a giant step toward a more healthy, joyful and sustainable lifestyle.

Thank you for creating this wonderful opportunity and for your commitment to Spirit and all of our conscious evolution.”

“Of all the classes I’ve taken at Agape over the last twelve years, nothing has catapulted me further toward self- discovery and self-recreation than the “I’m Keeping True” ministry. Under Reverend Arlene’s dedicated and mindful watch, my participation in this sacred practice came at a time when I needed it most. This amazing vortex of power, along with daily mutual prayers with my partner, provided love, hope, great material references and guidance- all necessary supports for anyone taking the sometimes uncomfortable inward bound journey of the soul. Traveling as a group with plenty of room for our individual processing made this easier. Likewise, cleansing the body temple, and making live food choices was absolutely crucial for the process of re-membering me. I know that I cannot transmute or even look at thoughts and related behaviors that won’t serve an evolved me without the stillness of nerves that fasting from highly dense “food” offers.”
